I’m Dr. Michele Oleksiak—HR pro, educator, and proud founder of Thryve Network. After 20+ years in education, leadership, and human development, I decided it was time to shake things up and create something new: a space where Business English isn't about dusty grammar books... it’s about growing into the boldest, clearest, most confident version of yourself.

Thryve is more than a learning platform; it’s a global community for curious minds, career climbers, and emerging leaders who want to communicate with purpose, lead with presence, and actually enjoy the journey. As a leader, I've had a front-row seat to the high-stakes decisions, the internal politics, and the specific communication gaps that hold talented people back. I know the unspoken rules of corporate communication, the precise language that gets you noticed, and the common mistakes that hold talented people back. I’m taking all of that hard-won knowledge and bringing it to you, so you can build your career not just with great English, but with a powerful strategy. We mix powerful Business English training with the stuff that really moves the needle: emotional intelligence, executive presence, and personal growth.

With a doctorate in Transformational Leadership from Concordia University and a Master’s in HR Management from Georgetown University (plus two degrees in education and a TEFL cert for good measure), I’ve spent my career helping people unlock their voice, tell their story, and go after big goals. And now, with Thryve, I’m bringing that work to life through interactive micro-courses, vibrant communities, and a fresh, human-first approach to global communication.
